Basic Goal: Have an acceptable website that I would want to spend money on and maintain.

Detailed Goals: Developing a website that hopefully will result in me meeting the several objectives I have set out for myself at the start. Explicitly the tasks before me are as follow:

• Learn and practice HTML
• Learn and practice CSS
• Practice and gain an intermediate level of skill in Javascript
• Gain practical understanding into visual design
• Build a back-end that will be tested in the real world
• Begin to create a real online portfolio and presence

These distinct goals aside the most valuable prize I could gain from this project is that I start building the mental machinery to effectively problem solve. I want to get good at solving problems that dont have already known answers. In short I want to both build concrete skills in design, but also build the intuitions that will make me a better designer and thinker.

Outcome:

I did create a website, but I stalled out on making blogposts. I hope to make the website look nicer at a later time, but for now I'm just going to leave it and move onto a new project.
